Refund Policy

Transparency and utmost satisfaction are the core priorities of Hikari Edu. We ensure ethical business practices, providing users with peace of mind and saving both their time and money. If they feel unsatisfied with our services or if we fail to fulfill the claim we made, they can submit a refund application. The refund policy will apply to everything we offer. 

 

Eligibility for Refunds

Our core services include full assistance from initial university and subject selection to post-arrival support in South Korea and Japan. However, the refund policy will only apply to services that involve any transaction. Here is the list of our services that may be eligible for refunds:

  • Language course fees
  • Visa processing fees (if not submitted)
  • Accommodation booking fees (if not confirmed)

 

Conditions under which refunds may be granted
  • Hikari Edu is liable to refund the user’s amount for the service that was promised but not delivered.
  • If users cancel services within a specific time frame, as stated at the time of purchase, they will have the option to receive a full refund. 
  • If a student’s visa gets rejected because of documentation our experts helped with, they will be eligible for a full refund. 
  • In some cases, if duplicate payments occur or any billing error happens on our side, we will be responsible for refunding the amount to you. 

 

Non-Refundable Services
  • We are not liable to refund the amount for all completed language classes. 
  • Similarly, the visa fee that has already been submitted to the embassies is also not refundable. 
  • Once processed, the bank account set-up fees are also non-refundable. 
  • The already rendered post-arrival services charges also can’t be refunded.

Please note that when a refund is approved, you may have to pay the administrative fees. 

 

Refund Request Procedure
  • You can either submit your application by filling out the refund form or emailing us at support@hikari.edu. 
  • Please ensure you include all relevant but valid details. It will boost your chances of application approval.
  • Include your payment recipient, service details, and reasons why you want a refund.
  • In case you are applying for a refund because of visa rejection, please provide supporting documents. 
  • Our team will review your application, and if everything is valid, we will process your refund amount within 7 to 14 business days. 

Please note you have to submit your refund application within 15 days of payment or service failure.

 

Dispute Resolution

If a refund request is denied, please cross-check your submitted details and documents. There is a high probability that you have missed something important. It might be because you have not supported your claim with valid documentation.

If you have attached all necessary files with valid information, then it’s not you, it’s we. Please get in touch with our live customer support for immediate help. They will listen to you and review your application again. 

However, if there are some legal technicalities, Hikari Edu also ensures a third-party mediation or legal resources in rare cases if needed.

 

Policy Updates

Please note that we may periodically change our refund policy in accordance with Google, legal, or other new updates. So before you take action, please go through our refund policy and other policy pages once again. It will help you avoid any inconvenience and mishap. Hikari Edu will not be liable for the actions taken, given the content of the old policy.
